d-day approaches

Our EDDs, as predicted by various groups:

April 2, 2007 - Ultrasound #1

April 5, 2007 - Ultrasound #2, Ton Ton

April 8, 2007 - Shemmy, Doctor

Then there's our doula, Cassaundra, who assuredly let us know that "most first pregnancies last 41 weeks and one day." So,

Heh. Heh-heh.

I was in Wal-Mart yesterday getting some "last minute" (?) things, like a diaper pail, when a gangly, mustachioed bucko sauntered by and pointedly observed, "Somebody's havin' a baaaaby."

I politely nodded and said, "Uh, uh."

As he continued on he guffawed, "Ya sure it's not twins?!"

OK, men, here are a couple cardinal rules:

1.) Unless you are 150% sure that a woman is pregnant, do NOT ask her when she's due.

2.) If you are 150% sure she is pregnant, do NOT ask her if she is carrying multiples.
